It's a little bit hard to find the driveway into this place. Coming from the South on I-270, it's nearly impossible to make the left turn and you end up having to go a bit west on Dorsett Road and turn around. The motel sits almost immediately adjacent to I-270 so there is a lot of road noise. The lobby was nice and the service friendly. We were given a 3rd floor non-smoking room. There was a stale smoke smell in the hallway as we got off the elevator but the room itself had no smell at all. The only other annoyance was that there was only one bath towel. The wifi worked very well. Overall, we were happy with staying here for one night and the price was very reasonable. They should really work a little harder to clear out the smell of cigarettes from the hallways.
Bed is comfortable and the price is certainly right but the hotel needs updating. The furnature is scratched, the internet goes in and out, and the entire place smells of cigarettes. The first room we were in was non-smoking but smelled so bad we asked for another. The second room was acceptable but it smelled like the room deoderizer was covering the smoke smell. Everything was clean and breakfast was good but I think I would stay somewhere else next time.
Everything was great except for internet issues. The wifi access was available but the actual internet service was in-and-out the entire stay. This was very frustrating. I called the company that services the hotel (LaQuinta gave me their number) and they could not properly troubleshoot and resolve the problem. This issue affected my ability to work remotely for my employer. I had to go to the lobby several times if I wanted internet (access from a different router in the lobby).
It is really great place! It is very next to I-270 that takes you either to I-70 (Kansas City or Chicago) or to I-44 and I-64. The guest rooms are very nice and comfortable. Wi-Fi and new TVs help to stay in-line even if you are far from your office/home. The breakfast is really great - I have not sen such a good choice in middle-priced hotels! I recommend to try the fresh and hot vafels! The people at the front desk are very friendly and nice.

I was in this motel four nights. the service was excellent the breakfast was really good, and the room was always clean. One problem I had the internet didn't work good at all, most of the time the Internet was very slow and was not comfortable to browse.
