I was not impressed with the breakfast at all. It was stale and old. Very disappointed. However, the customer service I received from the front desk lady Jodee, made up for what lacked in this hotel. It is this type of service that makes travelers want to return to the same hotel again and again. Well done Jodee!

If your looking for excellent customer service, look no further than this hotel!! Jodee who works front desk at this hotel was the nicest, most pleasent lady I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!! You can stay at some of the top 5 star hotels and still NOT get service like this!! LaQuinta really doesn't know how lucky they are to have this employee working for them and being the face for their hotel!!
I have never stayed at a La Quinta before. I was pleased with this La Quinta and I hope they are all like this. Very clean, room clean, hallways clean, I was most impressed with the breakfast area, really clean and food was simple, but good. And they have coffee, orange juice etc at all hours. I like to come back in the evening and have a cup of coffee, almost inpossible to find. Loved it will return, with no hesitation. People were friendly and helpful too.
Linda and I arrived very early for our 1 night stay. Jodi, the lady at the front desk, told us to wait and she would see what she could do about getting us into a room. A couple minutes later she returned checked us in and handed us our keys. That was a great beginning of our vacation stay in the Sunshine State. She also helped us with questions about where a certain dept. store was and the directions to get us there.
As for the room, it was bright and clean. We only had one complaint about it. The shower nozzle and the trick needed to get it to work. It really wasn't a trick, but more honestly the understanding on how it worked. We never saw one like it. It was like when you rent a car and want to put gas in and the latch handle is someplace in the car and it takes you awhile to figure out where it is. This experience with the shower was similar to that . I must say though, "what little problem we had with the shower was totally washed away with the thoughts of how wonderful we were treated when we showed up early by Jodi". As people say, "she is a keeper". Thank you Jodi. By the way, she had a wonderful sounding accent. She was from Australia or New Zealand, not sure which.
If you are looking for quality service then look no further. I stayed at this hotel and was amazed at the customer service that was given from a employee named Jodee. I won't go into detail about an incident that happened while I was there but I will say that jodee handled the situation perfectly, while always being polite and kind and compassionate towards the person involved (even though in my opinion this guest did not deserve jodee's compassion)
I have stayed over in a lot of hotels all ranging from 3 star to 5 star, but never have I come across someone who's customer service skills leave you speechless.
This employee is beyond a doubt an asset to this establishment and I only hope they see this as well for jodee is the front for this hotel and like they always say, first impressions make a lasting impression. With jodee there, they wont ever have to worry about first impressions.
