I am a fan of LaQuinta because of their pet-friendly policy, so even when I am traveling without my cat, as I did last week, I choose LaQuinta if I can. This one is in great shape. No bad smells!! The breakfast was the usual large selection which includes plenty of healthy choices for people like me who care about such things. Friendly, helpful staff.

We decided to stay here for the memorial day weekend and visit places like newport, providence and block island. Getting to Newport and block island was quite a drive.It probably a good idea to stay more closer. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We booked a double bed room but they gave us a room with just one double bed and one roll-away bed. However on the second day they gave us room with two double beds when we asked for it. The breakfast was very average and there was nothing left on the second day when we reached the breakfast room one hour before they closed!! The elevator and hallways stink of smoke even if it was a non smoking place. All in all it was a rip off for the money we paid for this place.

If you like Holiday Express locations, this is basically the same type. Free breakfast, comfortable clean rooms. As a bonus it is located on the same street as the airport rental car return. I stayed in the handicap equipped room, and there is no roll in shower, but lots of hand rails in tub/shower. I also like the orange scent shampoo. TV has several channels of Showtime and all local channels, a few sports channels and a few base cable channels. Matresses are soft top, but very comfortable. I have a firm matress at home, so I was pleasantly surprised, Breakfast starts late on Sunday (7 AM) so I had to scrounge what was there as I had an early flight. The desk clerk grumpily got me some fruit, but later apologized (not a morning person, I guess!) I am not staying there when I return 5/31/2013 because the summer rates double! I paid $72, they wanted $144 for that date. All the hotels near the airport showed large price increases, so La Quinta is not unique for this.

This was my first time staying here and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I had an early morning flight so decided to use their Park Sleep and Fly option. The front desk and shuttle staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and plenty spacious. I asked for and got a wake-up call which in my experience at other places, hasn't always happened. I was able to get a nice breakfast before leaving at 5 am and the shuttle driver was there and ready ahead of time. My only suggestion is to have shuttle service until midnight as my arrival back to the airport was at 11 and I had to get a cab back to the hotel.

Extremely courteous and accommodating employees. Neat and comfortable and very clean room. Service Excellent - Been here several times before and will be here again, and again. Stayed at another place several years ago - nice but no where near as nice as La Quinta Inn and Suites in Warwick, Rhode Island.
