"Peaceful, Clean and Well-Kept. What more do you want?"

I needed overnight lodging following an outpatient procedure that required a follow up visit the next day. There are many chain properties within a 2-3 mile radius. This one was clean, quiet and conveniently located. Oh, it was also about 50% less than the other chains. I dealt with 3 different front desk clerks between my check in and check out. Each was incredibly outgoing, friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Room was large, clean and had up-to-date furnishings/decor. Everything worked! AC was fantastic and not too loud. Bed was comfortable. Bed comforter/carpet/towels were clean. Nice desk/desk chair, great side table/reading lamp combo by incredibly comfortable arm chair--turns out its a recliner. Spacious bathroom--no mold anywhere. Room had hair dryer, ironing board, iron, luggage rack. No fridge or MW, but I knew this before making reservation. Not a deciding factor for a one night stay. Did not check out pool or work-out room. Continental breakfast was OK. Disappointed that no one started a belgian waffle fire while I was there--this has become one of my favorite motel spectacles! Did not explore free wifi throughout property (rooms and public spaces, no log in required). Property had adequate safe, free parking. Convenient location across street from Walmart, Sams Club and various stores/eateries in shopping mall. Located next to beltway (interstate) entrance ramp but barely any traffic noise. 5 story property with only one elevator. You would think a second elevator would be a must have; it would have probably speeded things up but I never had a ridiculously long wait for elevator. Going to breakfast and checking out the following morning involved many encounters with housekeeping staff and their carts traveling from floor to floor. All were polite and courteous and no guests were inconvenienced by the housekeeping carts. However, I felt sorry for the housekeeping staff--certainly their lives would be easier if there were a service elevator (or a second elevator) on the property. No noisy complaints: no traffic noise, no drunk guests trashing their rooms. My room was near floor's soda machine and single elevator but no disturbing noises. This place is a hidden gem. I've spent twice as much for similar, or dare I say it, lesser rooms and this was better than all. I'd be recommending this place on room size/cleanliness/staff courtesy alone--even if it wasn't such a bargain compared to other nearby chain properties.

Had a very pleasant stay. will come back again. Like the location right across from Walmart, Homedepot, and some nice food and fast food places. Near major highways. People at this location are extremely nice and helpful.

"Odd location but good hotel"

This was our second stay at this hotel. It's fairly close to downtown Baltimore... 10-15 minutes or so (though it's not as easy as just entering/exiting off the highway... If you're approaching from the south, you'll have to drive 3-5 miles through town to get to it. From the north, it's easier if you have an updated GPS now that they've changed the 95/695/895 Interstates up there. But it's a clean place, good breakfast and we always appreciate their very friendly pet policy. The neighborhood is pretty commercial and feels basically safe, no more or less than any of these type hotels. Unless we splurge on a luxury hotel in Baltimore, it will probably remain our basic hotel of choice in the area.

"Great staff; medicocre facility"
3 of 5 stars Reviewed Aug 14, 2014
My wife and I have stayed here several times and the good news is that things are getting better. This is a rennovated facility and shows its age... for instance, there are simply not enough outlets in the rooms to handle all the laptops and ipads and cell phones that need electricity. On this visit, the A/C was barely working (and we were too tired to start fussing and moving to another room). The location is pretty convenient. The Bright Side breakfast is very averyage.

"Great Service, Nice Room"

I've stayed at this LQ several times. It's close to the highway, but set back far enough from Rte. 7 and I-695 that road noise is not an issue. My room was clean and comfy. Decent flat screen TV, amenities. It's not glam, but it's nice. The front desk staff, especially Sam (for help with my reservation) and Nikomi, at the front desk, were super nice and friendly. Outstanding, really. The hotel is pet friendly; important to me. The breakfast is standard for a LQ. The lobby is a bit small, and sometimes noisy, but I did not hear any hallway noise in my room, located three rooms off the lobby. But I was up early both mornings, as I needed to be at an event where I was vending. It seems that the hotel has a number of guests there for long term stays while on jobs in the area; the staff knows their names and preferences, a nice touch, IMHO. For dinner, there's a mall across the street with lots of the usual places in the back area of the mall, a nice place about a 5 min ride away, a Longhorn nearby, and a Giant Supermarket across the street in another strip mall. You can also use the microwave in the breakfast room to heat up your food. This is a good, standard hotel, a great value, and I'll return. My only gripe is the lobby doors are not automatic, which can be problematic if you're wheeling in a full cart.
