Stayed during the off season. The rooms are rather tight, the furnishings are beat up and the TV is bolted down...really?
The bathroom was moderately sized and pretty clean.
The bed linens were good, plenty of pillows. The furnishings needed a better going over as it looks like dried foodstuffs were stuck to the front of the desk.
The brightside breakfast is very ho-hum. Not much to be excited about, and for someone with food allergies, very little in the way of choices.
I think the room was overpriced for the amenities and location.
there aren't many options in the area so we didn't have high expectations, but the hotel turned out to be one of the nicest we've been to.

This La Quinta is clean, comfortable, and has great service. Judy at the front desk was great. It is close to downtown, in walking distance of a Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and a convenience store. Everyone at the front desk has great knowledge of the area and can give you some tips. They have a well-maintained indoor pool and serve a continental breakfast. Our room was about $180 with tax, but it was more money due to the Maple Festival.
The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the Interstate, but we did not hear any annoying road noise, even though we had to keep our window open. The only problem we encountered was that the room was too warm, and even with the heating/ac unit turned off, it was extremely warm. We preferred not to turn on the air conditioner, since it was still April and we don't like having it on if possible. It was likely that the changeable weather was not being handled well by the system, since it suddenly turned cold the last night and we woke up freezing. But the beds are WONDERFUL!!! ( Memory foam, it seems). Just like sleeping on a cloud! I would definitely stay here again. We have family nearby, both in Vermont and Quebec, so it is likely we will be back.
We stayed here the night before our Amtrak train ride to Washington DC. This hotel is where the train crew stays.
The hotel was pretty full with contractors working on a local project. They were a bit noisy at night, however turning up the fan
drowned out the noise.
Good location, pool, decent continental breakfast, clean. I'd stay here again.
