La Quinta Inn & Suites Durham Chapel Hill in Durham, NC was everything we'd hoped it would be, thanks to the friendly & helpful staff, the beautiful hotel, and the lovely rooms. I had called ahead because my daughter has meds that needed to be refrigerated, and was directed to pick the king size bed option for 4 guests. Our stay was perfect, as far as the hotel and the staff are concerned. The refrigerator worked beautifully and the room was ideal for us. The only drawback we found, was that the other guests were a little over-rowdy in the pool area on Saturday evening - c'mon folks, a little common sense goes a long way! And, it was part of the rules that were clearly posted that there was no lifeguard on duty. So, we just left and went back to our room. And then, there was one little boy who was unsupervised every single time we saw him, which was a lot, and that was just weird. But, we're not his parents/caregivers. And, honestly, as young as he was, he was perfectly polite. Again, the hotel and accommodations were perfect. And I will definitely stay there again. The thing that impressed me the most was the email reminders and follow up. Excellent service!

This is a very nice place to stay, Pet friendly and everyone nice, they call to make sure everything is great, if you need anything they are there.nice pool and court yard, just beautiful. I recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I am always surprised at the enthusiasm I am treated to by the entire staff from the cleaning to the front desk personnel. It is a pleasant experience, requests from the location of room to the inviting ambience of the lobby, you feel like you are "visiting" with old friends". Breakfast is always fresh looking, and replenished as quick as needed. Even though this hotel always has a full occupancy, noises within the hotel is not excessive. Location can't be beat, close to Duke Medical, shopping, and great restaurants. Prices are competetive with other chains. Check this hotel out when in need of an exceptional place to stay. I stayed at a different La Quinta that last time I was in Raleigh three weeks ago, but this time I stayed at the Durham Chapel Hill La Quinta because it was closer to a wedding I was attending. I arrived a little early to be sure to ask for a room away from the busy highway next to the hotel. The room was clean and attractive. This hotel has a nice courtyard that we sat in both nights we stayed. Once you figure out where things are, there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. It was very quiet in our room except for some guests who don't know how to whisper in the hallway at 1am, but they didn't talk for long. Why don't hotels have doors that are sealed to be soundproof so guests in the hallways don't wake you up? I plan on using this La Quinta every time I visit Raleigh from now on. I have family who have moved there so I will be visiting 2 to 3 times per year and this hotel will be my choice.

Was in town for an appointment. This was the first time ever staying at a La Quinta Inn and Suites. The Hotel was Very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The only drawback for me was the pool area had no changing area, so You must have your swim trunks on before you head down.
