Arrived at the hotel late, service was excellent and friendly. We have a 53 lbs. Husky and with no pet fees we were happy to stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. We will definitely be happy to stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights from June 10th. we were in room 306, an accessible room.The room was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately it had no fridge, we tried to get one but they were all in use.the toilet was not the most accessible but it had alowered bath. The hotel is situated in a quiet area but our room faced onto Universal Boulevard and we were able to hear traffic and people taking as they walked past. This was probably due to the small gap in the window on the top right of the left pane of glass, which needs resealed.Apart from this we enjoyed our stay.The breakfast was minimal the only hot item being waffels.The breakfast area was never over crowded even though they had convention that week in the area.The pool area was well maintained and again was never over crowded. All staff were friendly and helpful. The front entrance could do with an update as they have 2 sets of manual doors. Not very helpful for someone wheelchair bound.But with help of other guests we always got through. The advantage this hotel has, is being on Universal Boulevaed away from the traffic which makes it eay to access north or south Idrive and makes it easy to get to Florida Mall.But is it is still so close to Idrive and all the shops and restaurants, they are just a small walk away. I would use this hotel again due to location and price. I will be staying in 2 more hotels very close to this over the next 17 day and will compare the 3. Photos to follow.

Hotel was just off International Drive and in nice part of Orlando. Behind the Pirates Cove and just off International Drive. There was a good "free breakfast" which was included in the price with a good selection of food i.e. toast, bagels, muffins, cereal (only 2 choices), waffles, fruit juice, fruit, yoghurts, coffee and tea. Car park front and back and we were on the ground floor near the back car park and pool which suited as fine. Nice big room and bathroom. Would go back to this hotel. No restaurant in the hotel.

Typical LaQuinta, with better amenities--better breakfast layout and eating area, better pool, better parking. It is a solid plus that you can pretty well walk to some of the more touristy stuff nearby (including one of the area's better putt-putt courses right next door). They offer shuttle service to area attractions, too...though I can't imagine going to Busch Gardens from here as one offer mentioned. On the whole, the facility is probably the nicest older LaQuinta I have visited. Newer ones may have that new-paint smell, but this one is well maintained and perfect for what I had in mind (avoiding convention hotel prices while being able to drive less than 5 miles to the OCCC--probably less than 2 miles--avoiding traffic almost entirely).

This hotel is located near everything. Within walking distance to Putt-Putt golf and lots of restaurants. Very close to Wet and Wild Water Park and Universal Studios. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that is looking for a hotel that include breakfast (the breakfast selection was ok and the waffles were very good). The admission into Disney Parks increased to around $96.00 a person per park and $136.00 per daily hopper pass this hotel can help you save to spend more at the parks. Staff member Rodney will go above and beyond the call of duty to assistant with making your stay great.
