I stayed here looking for a goo, mid-priced. motel for a business meeting I was attending the W/S. No complaints, The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful Lots or restaurants & shopping very near by. Pretty close to I-40 too.
We had an accessible room. Room was spacious, clean. Beds were comfy. However no fridge or microwave.
Pet friendly hotel. Didn't hear any barking at all.
The people in the rooms across from us decided to have a party in the hallway for a couple of hours. Very loud!! Doors slamming.
Front desk clerk was very nice both at check in and out.
Breakfast was ok. Area was large with plenty of tables.
Stayed here overnight on our way to Myrtle Beach. Location was great right off the highway. Front desk staff at check in was fantastic. Rooms were a great size. We had a room with 2 double beds and a rollaway bed. Still had loads of room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Had a great night sleep. Morning breakfast was standard but was perfect for our needs. Only complaint is the bed size. I don't know why they only offer 2 double beds. There was plenty of room for 2 queens. I think it is common among La Quinta to have 2 doubles instead of queens. Having said all that would I recommend it and stay there again, definitely!
The positive about the hotel is that the rates are reasonable and the bed was comfortable. However, you get what you pay for and this hotel needs some improvement. The hall carpets needed vacuuming, the hotel clerks could have been more helpful with better attitudes, the continental breakfast was a disappointment compared to other La Quinta's we have stayed in. We will probably look for another hotel next time we are in the area.
We always stop at this LaQuinta on our way to the Smoky Mountains. We have never been disappointed. It's clean and has an amazing king size bed. Sleeping here is always a treat.
