A La Quinta traveler |
The room was roomy and clean. Bathroom was also very clean. The beds were very comfortable!! I have back problems so comfortable beds make a huge difference, and this one was GREAT! The only complaint was that the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. We did not asked to be changed because upon check-in we heard them say they were down to their last rooms and people were still coming in for check-in. Neighbors were quite noisy, but not something the hotel could prevent. Very happy with our stay and will be staying here again.
Very convenient to the highway, malls, eateries, drug stores, gas stations, grocery store etc...Rooms are open and have plenty of plugs for phone charges etc...Microwave was a tremendous plus. Continiental breakfast was decent, average but decent. Overall, my entire family was very pleased and impressed we were able to accomodate them in the Smyrna/Vinings area for such a reasonable price. I was able to use my Delta discount which was 10% off (helps to cover the enormous hospitality taxes). Only one hiccup regarding a reservation that was accidentally cancelled. Definite spot to stay if you're looking for accessibility, cleanliness, and cost savings.
Easy commute to downtown and no parking fee! The breakfast selection was great. Just remember to spray the waffle iron or you'll be unhappy like the guy in front of me. Coffee was very good. Outside patio was lovely.
This location has enough property to walk a larger dog. The area around the hotel has sidewalks and a good distance around said hotel to get a proper walk in. All the staff I encountered were pet lovers.
On April 25, 2013 my partner and I stayed at the La Quinta. The location is great because it is just off the freeway, but far enough away to not be bothered by traffic noise. Very impressive hotel and lobby. Check in was a breeze. Our room was very large, with a comfortable bed and large screen tv and very clean. The free continental breakfast was typical nothing special. The hotel is located near a large mall with shopping and lots of restaurants to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends and I would stay here again.
