Had booked our one night stay through Booking.com two & a half months prior to our stay...on arrival, very late at night, there was no reservation on file from Booking.com...after the hotel communicated with Booking.com, the hotel clerk, in all the confusion, was able to give us the same room type at the same price.....a couple of weeks after our stay, Booking.com blamed the hotel while that evening of the booking, the hotel blamed booking.com....the lesson....always double check your bookings!!.....other than that the hotel was clean, comfortable, a little noisy, and the included breakfast was very good
While traveling on business I found that this was a great location central to where I needed to be. If you belong to the rewards program and get upgraded, the suite is very comfortable. All I did was inquire when making my reservation and it was all taken care of when I arrived. The front desk was very helpful and everything else about this property was as you would expect at a LaQuinta Inn and Suites.
We had a very pleasant experience, beginning with the friendly desk clerks. Our room was a handicap room and was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely go back!
No lighting in the pool or pool area. Also signage at the exterior pool gate reflecting that you can access the area with your room key needs to be removed as staff advised that ingress and egress is longer allowed thru' said gate.
Lastly, the maid didn't replenish the coffee, condiments, cups, etc.
Hotel was average, but smoking room smelled like dirty socks. Some bugs, including a cockroach. I would not take family here for vacation. If you do not rent a car, then you'll spend a small fortune on shuttles. No shopping nearby, only restaurants. Business only kind of hotel. Most of the staff was very, very nice and very friendly.
