I really enjoyed this LQ as it was in a very good spot for us. We travel with our pets and this location actually had pretty decent space for us to walk our dogs. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with lush green bushes, flowers and deep green grass. The one thing I like about this place is that I felt really comfortable and safe the minute I stepped on property. It?s in a bit more of a business area then I would like, but it?s really not that far from down town charlotte and the drive isn?t that bad.
I didn?t particularly care for the front desk people here, so I stayed clear of them and only spoke to them when I needed to. The room was good and clean and adequate for what we paid. I would recommend and stay in this hotel again.
Always great service from the La Quinta staff. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms.We arrived for the breakfast at 8:45 (ends at 9). There was no waffle batter left but plenty of cereal, yogurt, bananas, etc The shuttle bus driver Bob was very informative.
The rooms are clean and large. The refrigerator did not work and I was advised that it was a cooler, not a refrigerator. Huh? When you see all the audio monitoring and cameras in the parking lot, you soon realize that you are in a high-crime neighborhood. Yet, the overpriced Embassy Suites is directly across the street and has the same issues. This neighborhood is full of hotels/motels and there is nothing nice within walking distance. You must have a car. La Quinta staff are very pleasant and will do anything to please.
This Hotel Provided a Place to Rest are Heads after a Day at the Wells Fargo Golf Tournament. Close to everything and since we come to Charlotte every 4 to 6 weeks will be back. Directions provided by the staff & the caring by all the team makes the guest feel like we are important.
i only stayed here one night, but it's not so bad. there was a whole bunch of stupid kids staying for a bassnectar concert, so the hotel kinda smelled like weed. but not in my room. yea there is a ventilator that is on all the time, but fu^k, it doesn't smell like smoke in my room. just the hallway.
