I have stayed at many Laquintas but this one in Stevens Point Wi was the worst. Make sure if you are going to stay that you get a room NOT on the street side or be perpard to stay up all night from all the traffic noise., also the hallways need to get painted stalle smoke smell real bad.

A La Quinta traveler |
Overall a good experience, to be picky bed skirts needed cleaning, visible stuff on skirting, pool was smaller but we were the only people there so that was nice. Had a nice breakfast of boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, etc. Easy check in and checkout.
We were at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Stevens Point for the Destination Imagination state competition. The hotel was packed with families. Kids everywhere. The pool was packed. La Quinta did a great job! They opened the breakfast area an hour early Saturday morning to accomodate all of the families trying to get to competition on time. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Thank you for a nice visit.
We had to make an emergency trip to the area and had no hotel reservation. After being turned down at multiple other location the staff here did not hesitate to show us some empathy and get us a room. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, we had a fridge and microwave, and easy access to the freeway. When the pool ran out of towels we were told we could USA some from our room and they would bring fresh towels to us soon. About an hour later fesh warm towels were delivered. For the price, friendliness and comfort, I highly riccomemd a stay here!
I stayed here while in town for a convention, I was so happy to find a place I could bring my 2 little chihuahuas along with me, its so hard for me to travel without them. Hotel looks small and plain jane from the outside but I found the check-in to be expecially friendly, I always request a room close to an exit for taking my dogs out and I had a room just one stairs up from the dogwalk area which was very nice. Breakfast was suitable, I always apprecaite an egg of some sort, they can keep the muffins & waffles sugary carbs.They had hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and a better variety of fresh fruit then most. Usually I get told there will be no housekeeping when I have pets along but this hotel was super about that, they offered housekeeping even though my dogs were kenneled in the room, I really appreciated getting the fresh towels and restocked coffee that I normally dont receive from housekeeping when I travel with pets! I had a King room with a sofa, microwave & refrigerator, it was very nice, roomy & comfortable. Will stay here during my yearly convention in the area again!
