I booked this hotel because it was cheaper then the others in the area but I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel was more then satisfactory. They are amidst a remodel but even the construction men were very polite and respectful. The staff was pleasant and everything was done in a timely fashion (check in/check out). The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay here in the future if the need arises!!!

This place does not give a great first impression. The neighbourhood reminds one distinctly of a demilitarized zone, not a lot of life! Then when you go into the hotel, it does look a bit run down and the halls smell strongly of cigarette smoke. That said the rooms are neat and clean, if also due for an update. The bed was super comfy and the linen was nice and clean, nice big TV with lots of channels. Shower was pretty old school over the bath, haven't seen one like it since the late 80's, but it worked well. Breakfast was good value for a freebie, muffins, toast, bagels, waffler maker etc. The coffee was tragic but this is the United states and they don't do coffee well many places. Service was so so when I checked in, but in the morning when the manager was in, they took it to another level. Really friendly and upbeat. Also were more than happy to drop me off at the airport rental car place with their airport shuttle bus, it saved me a lot of time and was much appeciated. All in all, for the price you are paying, this place is well worth staying at, especially if you want to be close to the airport.

We were greeted very well, our room was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Service was excellent and the breakfast had a very good variety. We would very likely stay here again on another trip.

Many negatives to this location. First off, it is in need of renovation. Carpets are stained in halls and rooms. The doors are made of hollow wood in the rooms with a chain lock on the inside. Doors were worn and showers were dirty old fiberglass. Paint on ceiling was terrible. Run down inside. I did not feel safe because of the type of inside door and chain lock. I also found a pill on the floor when entering the room left by a previous guest. Positives: beds have the La Quinta upgraded bedding with the white bedspread. Also, comfortable pillow top mattress. It also has a microwave and frig. We stay at a ton of La Quintas, and this one is near the bottom of my list. Just needing renovation.

This hotel is a great value choice for those needing to stay by the airport. It might show some wear around the edges, but it's not like you're staying here as a resort vacation. Nice staff, good rooms, very easy access to the highway and the airport. All that and it would be tough to beat the price. Solid choice if you're staying in Cleveland.
