A La Quinta traveler |
Pet owners PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PETS. Keep them under control and out of trouble. This is one of the finest hotel chains around AND THEY ALLOW OUR PETS!!! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff just wonderful, and we always feel safe and clean when we stay there. We were so tired of staying at scummy hotels or paying a fortune in pet fees for our well behaved show standard poodles. When you leave there should be no sign that a pet was even in the room or on the hotel grounds. And if damage is caused own up to it and offer to take care of it yourself or pay/tip the staff if they need to do it for you. Kudos to La Quinta you are the BEST!!
One of the top La Quintas if you are travelling with pets, and equally so even if you are not. Convenient to major freeways, close to excellent restaurants, and an extremely helpful and cooperative staff. The room was clean, quiet and decently appointed. I'll stay again.
The most friendliest welcome when we walked in, and we got the room that we had requested. As usual the lobby and the room was exceptionally clean as are the grounds. We have stayed at the Laquita here in Clive every year for the past 4 years and have never been disappointed. It is now our regular stop twice each year. Well worth the price, and we are extremely grateful that they welcome our pet schnauzer who travels with us wherever we go.
We pulled in after many hours on the road and Wanda made us feel right at home. She quickly got us our room and made great suggestions on where to go for dinner. In the morning, she was there again, and joked around with us and made us feel like we were part of their family. Great stay, nice clean rooms and Wanda made this hotel 5 stars in our book! Thank you!!!!
Prior reviews are correct in that this is a very clean hotel with friendly service. We only stayed one night, arriving late in the evening and departing early the next morning. The common areas are fairly updated and the breakfast area is very pleasant. The guest rooms are showing their age and furniture shows a lot of wear and tear. It is definitely a budget hotel and, for the price we got on Priceline, we got a pretty good deal. The heater/ac unit was loud and woke me up several times during the night. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, but it is definitely not up to the local competition with many new hotels in the area. I really appreciate the courtesy of the front desk clerk after a long night of driving in the rain.
