Stay away, this is not a place you would want to stay in even for a night. The La Quinta chain should revoke their right to be called La Quinta. It has NONE of the ambience or amenities of the La Quinta name. It's like a cheap roadside hotel off the side of the highway that only caters to overnight travelers who will never return again. Where to begin, there is nothing nice I can say about it other than they are pet friendly. It is tucked away in a not very nice area, sandwiched between a storage facility and some other unknown business right off a busy and noisy highway. There are NO nearby food places, other than a McDonald's you can take a 10 minute walk to. However, this is not an area you will want to walk in at night. A trip to a nearby food establishment, app. 4 blocks away, saw us approached at our table by an obviously under the influence young man. Our server informed us that this stretch is known as meth alley! The lobby are is not attractive at all, it is a small cramped area with a desk with a laptop and computer which serves as their business center. The food area is quite small, it serves up the usual continental breakfast. No hot items outside of the usual waffle maker. The rooms, which are very small, do have small fridges and microwaves and flatscreen TV's. The beds are just okay. There is no pool on premises, actually there is nothing but blacktop. It is an extremely unattractive hotel. The corridors and elevators have no air conditioning in them. This is not a negative commentary on the staff but rather the hotel itself. The staff were all very friendly. We chose this based upon TripAdvisor reviews, which had given it 3 1/2 stars. We are dumbfounded as to why. There is no way we could ever or would ever encourage anyone to stay here. This is listed as Buckhead, I've been to Buckhead, a charming town. This is not Buckhead.

I've stayed at this location for years when traveling to Atlanta. Needless to say, Ms. Frey, Shameka and Ms. Gloria(HKM) are very nice and if you have issues, they jump on it quick. I'll definitely be returning.

Was booked into a smoking room. I don't smoke, but I'm not that picky about it - however this room was flat out gross. My socks were black after walking on the floor in them, there were burn marks in the carpet, and the bathroom def hadn't been cleaned within a week of my arrival - pink mold rings at the water lines. This was the 3rd floor. I hear the 2nd floor was not as bad.

"Old, worn out hotel, good service"

The location is a bit of a challenge. The service staff were bright and attentive. Inncom in the room so you have to set the thermostat really low to get the room comfortable. the bathroom was really old and worn out. Shower fixture just spins. Took forever to get the water temperature right. Fitness equipment was equally tired. The elliptical felt like it was going to collapse.

This hotel is THE BEST! We came to Atlanta to celebrate my sisters 21st birthday. We originally booked a different hotel, which was supposed to be "UPSCALE". Let me tell you the disappointment was REAL. They quoted one price and we get there and the hidden fees are $200 more than what they quoted. Do you know they wanted us to pay $22 per night to park at a hotel we were staying at??? Needless to say, we looked for a LaQuinta and found this one in the same area. We called and Rob was not only professional and courteous but he also gave us an awesome rate because I for a State hospital. Shameika was really awesome also. When we arrived our room keys were waiting on us. They (Shameika and Rob) even gave suggestions on where to go to celebrate for the entire weekend. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. And ourstay was AWESOME!!! I will be staying here on Every visit to this area.
