We were first given a room on the 1st floor but was unable to stay in that one because of the pet smell, it was horrible. When I went back to the front desk; there were no questions asked, he gave us another room, this one on the 2nd floor, & said that he would have the problem taken care of in the first room. Our room was very clean, it was quiet and the staff was very friendly & helpful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, my room was so musty and dank smelling, I requested a different room. Management was clearly aware the room had a problem, as they had an air purifier going and the a/c running full bore when I checked in. Second room was a little better, but still musty smelling; desk clerk said they had just shampooed the carpets. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.

Simple hotel - dated carpets but better the average breakfast. The location is good and the area seemed safe. We were greeted nicely and our room was ready upon arrival. Bed was good and shower/hot water worked perfect. The people working the 2 days we stayed were friendly and seemed to care about the guests well being. If the price is under $80 - I would stay here again.

I wrote my appreciation on a card for the general manager, glad to tell you about it here. Traveling out of state there is always some kind of issue to think about: Distance from the destination? Reasonable vs Ridiculous Cost for the hotel stay - it's only temporary guys, we're not looking to move in; SECURITY of the location and the ROOMS? CLEANLINESS of the hotel AND ESPECIALLY THE ROOMS? And For ME specifically - please tell me it is NOT "bug friendly!" I've been at places where I had to bring my own disinfectant, and my own bug spray to keep the bugs away so I could put my things down and/or sleep long enough to find another hotel. I did NOT have that issue with this hotel!! THANK YOU!!! Not this hotel, it was clean and bug-free. It actually began with a call that I'd be arriving late (driving in from out of state), asked for a refrigerator and microwave.... they said, no problem [as long as they have these available], ok - I can accept that. I had driven past my exit and gotten lost somewhere on side streets of downtown Atlanta - clueless how to get out. The front desk person put someone one the phone who could guide me - a kind and helpful and knowledgeable SECURITY Guard. Security guard? Bonus in my book! I didn't know they had one, until that point. I felt confident about the hotel from that point on. Check in was a breeze, the room was close by and CLEAN and BUG FREE, and the microwave and refrigerator were plugged in and running. I felt comfortable in the room and hotel. Perhaps it was that I was tired - I don't believe so; I made good time in my travels, so I was still energized.... the point: the sleep was AWESOME! I hated to get out of that bed! Maybe it's just me, but the shower was incredible - I didn't want to get out there either; and I have/use my wonderful massage showerhead at home, but this regular shower was so relaxing for me! Once I figured out where I was, and how I got lost - the location was so great, within 10 - 15 minutes of my destination (with traffic, in ATLANTA, wonderful because I hate long lines and traffic jams - with a passion)!! They offered fresh fruit, cereal, and waffles - my son loved that, it worked for me; a piece of meat would have been nice - but I bought my own (of course). Checking-in was easy and they greeted me with a hello. The cleaning staff was very nice and provided me with extra items that I requested, such as towels and extra shampoo. The hotel is located off of I 85 & Cheshire Bridge Road, easy to get downtown and to the Buckhead area.
