This is absolutely the best hotel I have stayed in! I staff is always friendly and courteous. My room was clean and all the fixtures worked as they should. The beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I am genuinely considering asking to buy a pillow from this hotel the next time I stay there. Wonderful!

Our son stayed at the North Kansas City La Quinta site in transition of his assigned station for the Air Force. Upon the reservation over the phone I gave my debit card # and was asked "if this is going to be the card its charged to?" No, he will pay cash or with his own card. Once he arrived at the facility - he then gave his debit card to the employee to charge the room to his account. Now - his card number is off file? & we have given our card #'s over the phone AGAIN to be charged to the correct acct. And being he's 800 miles away from Kansas City, no fax available - "he has to provide the card to La Quinta in person or fax" With todays times... The whole security of this is in question. The Corporate office in Texas was no help! Thanks for nothing La Quinta.

Great place to stay!!! Breakfast has been better at other La Quintas but, we would definitely go back if we were in the area. Check in was great! Check out was wonderful as well! You have some wonderful staff members!!

We came to KC to go to the Mechum auction and to visit friends. The room was clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the pricing was very reasonable. The hotel was close to everywhere we wanted to go. Would definetely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I chose this hotel only because it was in vicinity to friends who we had come to see. La Quinta has a friendly staff, a bed, and a shower, and a tv but not much else. The halls had a culmination of several interesting smells, some lights didn't work and doors were coming off their hinges. We had asked to have our vanity light looked at one afternoon (as it didn't work), and later that evening it wasn't fixed, but the next morning at 8AM the maintenance man showed up to fix it. We asked him to come back later as he had just woke us up and we weren't dressed. He explained he was on call and therefore had to fix the light now. So with my girlfriend and I IN BED this guy brings in his ladder and fiddles with the light for 5 minutes and leaves. We try the light after he leaves and it still doesn't work. I filed a complaint, the lady at the front desk (who was the only staff member there - trying to check people out, handle phone calls and other office duties while trying to maintain the breakfast bar) was excellent and profusely apologized and moved us to another room, and the next day the manager worked things out with us. They are just over worked and under staffed and apparently not much communication going on between them.
