This spot in SE Omaha, NE is a jewel in the rough. The rooms are spacious, clean and updated. The beds are so comfy. It is a fairly quiet hotel although being near the highway, you can expect some noise on that side of the Inn. There are several locked entrances which makes for easy access to all parts of the Inn. The breakfast buffet..is mediocre.
Nothing fancy, but everything that was there, was fresh. They offer weekly rates that are extremely well priced. I will be staying there on my next trip.
I submitted a review earlier of this property and marked all terrible, instead of excellent! As I wrote in my prior review, this was my second time at La Quinta Southwest and I am very pleased with my stay. I apoligize to the Manager and Staff for my mistake in submitting my last review.
I was very disappointed with my first stay at the La Quinta Inn. When we arrived the building had a smell of marijuana in the lobby which had us concerned. Then when we went to our room we continued to be disappointed because our room had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke. The furniture had burn holes in it and looked dirty. The smell was so strong my fiancé and I both woke up with a headache and did not stay for breakfast because we just wanted out of the hotel.
Old and dingy. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Location easy access to freeway.i would Recommend you pay more for a nicer place to stay. We won't stay there again. Staff was friendly but that doesn't make up for the condition of the building and rooms.

Stank of cigarette smoke.
Stains in sheets.
Stains in carpet.
No breakfast.
Had windows open in hallways it was 32degees out.The hallway and lobby was freezing.
Thought I was in the hood.
A few people smoking at every entrance.
